I will help coordinate between multiple subjects, your family&#8217;s extracurricular activities and values, your school district&#8217;s requirements, and your child&#8217;s interests. I will provide direct support, advice, and tutoring. \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The base rate for the <strong>educational coaching<\/strong> <strong>package<\/strong> is $400.00 per month. A discounted rate is available for those facing financial hardship. Please reach out for additional information.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The base rate for the <strong>tutoring package <\/strong>is $40.00 per hour. Tutoring sessions need to be scheduled at least a week in advance and must be a minimum of one hour.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>tutoring package<\/strong> is a pick and choose option where I will not provide a comprehensive plan, but instead tutor your child in your choice of subjects in English and social studies and additional subjects on a case by case basis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Additional services can be added as follows:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Organizing and maintaining digital records including attendance and courses offered in accordance with California State Law and best practice &#8211; $100.00 per month with discounted rates for additional siblings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Filing the PSA (Private School Affidavit) with the state &#8211; $20.00 one time fee. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liaison with local school districts for special education testing and services, as well as any additional services required &#8211; $100.00 per month with discounted rates for additional siblings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The initial consultation is free. After the initial consultation, I will provide you with a person centered plan (PCP), which is $25.00 if you are utilizing the <strong>educational<\/strong> <strong>coaching package<\/strong>. Please see <em>Documents<\/em> for a template. There will be no PCP if you elect to utilize the <strong>tutoring package<\/strong>. If you decide to continue with services, we will agree on a scope of services and fee structure. I will send you the scope of services along with an invoice for the initial month.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you continue services after receiving the person centered plan, the $25.00 is discounted from your first month&#8217;s total.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Services beginning after the 1st of the month will be pro-rated weekly. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All services are provided on a month by month basis and payments are due at the first of each month. If the service is not a good fit for your child and you, you may cancel at any time. Refunds are pro-rated based on date of cancellation to end of month. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Payments are accepted through PayPal and can be accessed<a href=\"https:\/\/huntenterprisesunlimited.com\/wordpress\/payments\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"542277\"> here.<\/a> Please refer to your invoice (which is sent at the beginning of each month and\/or prior to the start of services) for totals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Homeschooling <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You have a variety of methods to conduct homeschooling in California. Please refer to <em><a href=\"https:\/\/huntenterprisesunlimited.com\/wordpress\/helpful-links\">Helpful Links<\/a><\/em> for additional information. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Depending on your choice of homeschooling method, my professional relationship as outlined in the scope of work will be different, with different requirements. \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If your child receives services through a public charter school, through a public school independent study program, or through an existing private school that offers online learning or independent study options, I will simply be an additional resources to augment services already provided. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I am a &#8220;credentialed tutor&#8221; for all grades only in the subject of social studies. Per California Ed Code 48224: &#8220;Children may be instructed in study and recitation for at least three hours a day for 175 days each calendar year by a private tutor or other person in the several branches of study required to be taught in the public schools of this state and in the English language. The tutor or other person shall hold a valid state credential for the grade taught. The instruction shall be offered between the hours of 8 o&#8217;clock a.m. and 4 o&#8217;clock.&#8221; If you choose this route, you would likely hire several tutors to cover all subjects. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If your have or want to establish a &#8220;Home Based Private School&#8221;, this option gives you the most flexibility. You are required to file a PSA (Private School Affidavit). The teaching requirements are relaxed, and anyone who is &#8220;capable of teaching a subject&#8221; is allowed to be the teacher of record. In this case, you as the parent are expected to be the main instructor and teacher of record for your student. However, I can be an additional teacher of record and instruct in a variety of subjects. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fingerprinting: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In certain instances, such as if you have a Home Based Private School and hire me as an additional teacher of record, fingerprints are required. As a matter of course, I will offer fingerprinting with the DOJ and FBI with each new client. There will be a $50.00 fee charged for each live-scan. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Timeline &amp; Scheduling<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>After receiving the PCP and agreeing to services, I will need a digital copy of all relevant documents. These include the courses\/subjects your child is working on, any relevant course material, the latest copy of your child&#8217;s IEP if applicable, and any other relevant documentation. If digital copies of the materials are not available (such as with a textbook), we will discuss how to best get a physical copy for me. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After receiving those documents, I will take no longer than seven business days to individualize materials for your child, schedule initial sessions, etc. After this period, I will begin working with your child within the scope of services. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At the initialization of services, I will provide a link and login information for a password protected page. This page will have a link to a Google Calendar where upcoming sessions and assignments will be scheduled. It will also include a link to a Google Folder. This folder will include all educational material, assignments, and paperwork such as invoices. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Discounts<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are experiencing financial hardship, I still want to help you. Please contact me, and prices can be negotiated on a case-by-case basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am a member of AANR and a local Clothes-Free club in Castro Valley. If you have an AANR or club membership, I offer a 15% discount on all services. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All video conferencing is done through Proton Meet. No subscription or software is needed. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All payments are required by the first of the month. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All virtual links are shared with the parent\/guardian. They will also be shared with the client when appropriate. The parent\/guardian is welcome to attend all meetings. All meetings can be recorded at the parent\/guardian request.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You and your child will receive an email with a username and password. This is for your individual portal where you can access a folder with assignments and other information, as well as a calendar. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Because I am a mandated reporter, I am required to report any and all incidents of child or dependent abuse or neglect.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All in-person meetings for initial consultation and tutoring must be scheduled in advance. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Homeschooling Fingerprinting: Timeline &amp; Scheduling Discounts If you are experiencing financial hardship, I still want to help you.
