- Developed and implemented an English curriculum for grades 8 – 12 that aligned with Alaska State Standards.
- Collaborated with the Biology Department of the University of Alaska, Anchorage to develop student research projects on ANWR.
- Created a media program from scratch that was implemented throughout the entire district.
- Wrote and implemented curriculum for three media classes, as well as a photography elective.
- Retained the services of industry professionals as vocational education instructors.
- Worked in conjunction with grant writers to implement a fifty thousand dollar budget in the creation of the media program.
- Engaged multiple villages in distance education using video teleconferencing.
- Planned and implemented an out-of-state field trip to Los Angeles for high-performing students in the media program.
- Engaged partners in California to develop a series of educational events including a campus tour of Chapman University and other educational experiences.
